Babies Babies Everywhere!

What a busy few months! I haven't blogged in forever and thought it was probably time. Jordan and I finally put our house hunting to rest and found a beautiful home. We moved in September first. Jake is in his toddler bed now, as his crib will be used for baby #2. The house is slowly starting to feel like home. We've painted, bought some furniture. Most importantly, the nursery is complete. Only three more weeks and baby will be here! November 21st is the big day. I'm getting excited. I love being pregnant though. I could be pregnant forever I think... but i'd love to meet the little babe. Boy or Girl? hmmmm I think boy!
Jacob had a great Halloween. He dressed up as a monster. He enjoyed knocking on doors and getting candy. (Candy that I enjoyed later on that night)
So... everyone seems to be having babies... First my friend Teralee had her little girl Sofia in September (she is so so cute, stay tuned for pictures of that little sweetie) and just recently my friend Lisa had her little girl Laikyn. Lisa let me do a mini photoshoot with Laikyn. It was my first newborn shoot and I am happy with the finished product. Laikyn is so darn cute, that there's no way the photos wouldn't have turned out. Well It's About Time

Hello All.
I know... i'm bad... I haven't blogged since May! We have just been so busy busy with the move back to the island, looking for a house, and doing my photography.
Jacob is doing great. He is now almost 19 months. Talking and walking like crazy. Still as happy as ever. He's always on the run, so it's quite the chore just keeping up to him. Baby #2 is doing well too. I am 21 weeks along now. I had my ultrasound on friday and got to see the baby. Pretty neat.
As for my photography, it's been going great. I miss Kamloops, but am enjoying the different scenery Vancouver Island has to offer. Just last weekend I photographed a beautiful wedding. It was outside. And it was the only beautiful day we have seen in weeks. So they definately lucked out! They are such a great laid back, down to earth couple, and I am so happy to have shared and documented their special day with them.

Sunshine and Flowers

May has been a busy month so far. Lots of photoshoots. And lots to do around the house. Less than one month and we'll be back on the Island. I'm really looking forward to it. I guess we'll need to start paking soon. I'm sad to leave this beautiful warm weather though... but I'm sure the weather on the Island will behave once I get there.....(maybe wishful thinking) I got my first burn of the year yesterday! and it feels GREAT!
Jacob is getting big. He has 4 more teeth to go and then he's done with teeth! If he's eating and see you have a drink, he makes you cheers him. It's pretty darn cute. He loves flowers. He'll start sniffing when the flowers are on the other side of the road. He's still sleeping like a champ which I'm loving. I wish I could say the same for me but nope. Getting up 4 times in the night to pee is not fun. Oh the joys of pregnancies. I heard baby's hearbeat for the first time at tuesday's doctors appointment. That was such an unreal feeling :) Makes it much more real. Lots of people think I'm having a girl. (wishful thinking if you ask me) I know I'm having a boy. Im so confident that I'm having a boy that I'm considering going ahead and doing the nursery with a boy theme. I'm sure Jordan will stop me from that..
Anywho.. here are some photos of the shoot I did yesterday. Such a nice family. Three kids. I dont know how they do it. I think i'll be stopping at two. :)

Easter Weekend Wedding

Hello Everyone
I haven't blogged in awhile. Again I have been super busy. My latest adventure was photographing a wedding this last easter weekend at O'keefe Ranch in Vernon. It was a perfect day. Not a cloud in the sky. The groom was grinning from ear to ear and then bride was glowing. I'm so happy that they allowed me to be a part of their special day. Another Great Shoot

This last Saturday I met with a wonderful family and took their photos. She was pregnant and BEAUITFUL! She made my job very easy. And her son was very co-operative.. So all in all it was a nice shoot. I was pleased with the way the photos turned out.
Other than being busy with photoshoots, i've just been enjoying the weather and trying to conquer this morning sickness. ughhh! Anywho.... here is some photos from this last weekend.
