Sunny Day

Well today is Sunday and I told myself that I would take today off and not blog. But we went out for a drive today and of course I had to bring my camera. I could wait until tomorrow, but this blog stuff is sort of addicting! I don't have much to say really. It was a beautiful sunny day here so I took advantage of it and got some pictures of my handsome men :) I am now going to proceed on to my sunday tradition. A bath, first season of Modern Family, and a big ol' glass of wine :) Have a good night!

A Perfect Saturday

Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far! Today was a good day. Jacob let mom and dad sleep in which was fantastic. We haven't had a day with just the three of us in awhile. We took Ruby and Diesel to the dog park, then we went out for a drive for the rest of the day.
We decided to go explore and check out some new area. We went up to some lake and Jordan tried ice fishing for a bit, then we were driving along a road and we came across a monk. Yes.. a monk. He told us that he was one of 12 that was staying at the temple at the end of the road. Yes. a temple. They had a Birken temple at the end of this old logging road. Very random. But kind of neat. I've never talked to a monk before :)
I was able to get a few pictures today. Mostly just scenery pictures. I really need to find some people to photograph!
We came home, and while I edited photos, Jordan and Jakey played in their fort made of blankets. Too cute! Now I'm just relaxing on the couch with a blanket.
It may sound like a boring saturday to some people, but this is a perfect saturday to me :)

Yay for Friday

I thought I'd post my blog a little early today since Jordan, Jacob and I are going to a hockey game tonight. My day was pretty laid back. Amanda came over and we finished her beautiful invitations. They look so great that I had to take some pictures of them :)
I took the doggies to the dog park again. So cute and so fun. I wish Campbell River had a dog park.
Now I'm just sitting in the living room, blogging while Jordan watches this absurd show with some guy who thinks it would be neat to eat as much as he can in a certain amount of time. What has the world come to ? hahaha And then I look over at Jakey by the window harassing the dogs with their leash through the glass.
I'm thinking about having a glass of wine. Yes it's before 5pm but I don't really care. I was just on the phone dealing with the government. I swear they're out to get me. You think that they would have people working for them, that actually knew what they were talking about.. but apparently not.
But on a lighter note, I'm looking forward to a family night at the hockey rink :) Perhaps I'll have some pics to show you tomorrow of the game. We'll see. Hope everyone has a great Friday night :) Byee

Interesting Day

Hello Hello
Today was an interesting day. I woke up to an overflowing toilet, a cold shower, and a mischievous puppy. Usually, if my day starts out bad, the rest of my day is shot. But I made an effort to have a good day, and it was! Once again Amanda saved the day and brought over her toilet plunger, her and I tackeled her wedding invitation dilemma, went for a walk with Andrea, and Jakey and I had a tickle fight. But the topper of my day was definately my tall skinny vanilla latte. Mmmm goodness.
I wasn't going to blog tonight because absolutely nothing interupts my Grey's Anatomy. But, it was a re-run. Which I am not thrilled about. But I guess I get to blog so that's good! Unfortuantely I was so busy today that I didn't get a chance to take any pictures. But I thought I'd post some old ones that I took back in December 2009.
These photographs are very beginner. But they remind me of home. And lately, I've been a little homesick. Hope you all have a good night. I am off to bed asap! Take Care

Day at the Dog Park

Its winding down to the end of the day. Giving Jakey a bath soon. Then it's time to relax. Perhaps I'll watch American Idol. Who am I kidding... of course I'm watching American Idol tonight and I am not embarassed to say so. haha
I had a good day today. It went by really quick. Amanda, Jakey and I took our dogs to the doggie park. Flash, Diesel, and Ruby all crammed into the Jeep and away we went. It's so cool watching 15 dogs run around and play. Jake gets a kick out of it too. His vocabulary while there consists of dog, dog, doooog.
I got to take a few pictures while we were there. Amanda was kind enough to carry Jake so I could snap some shots. I don't know what I'd do without her. We joke around and call her my nanny. She makes life much easier. Anywho. Now I'm relaxing with two dogs sleeping at my feet. Dogs exercised means Kayla relaxed :)
I was so surprised to wake up this morning and see that people are actually reading my blog! I just want to say thanks to everyone for the support. I like this blogging stuff. It's fun. I'll sign off for now. Goodnight Everyone!

Hello All
Well.. hello no one.. haha. No one even knows I have a blog yet. And maybe I want to keep it that way. Who really wants to hear about my day anyways? Well.. I know my mom will read. So even if it's just her... it's worth it :)
My first blog I've ever written, and I don't even have anything to say. I didn't get out to take any pictures today. It was a pretty dreary day and I was crazy busy. My day consisted of running around like a chicken with it's head cutoff. I'm glad to say the day is done. Perhaps I should have a glass of wine...
I'll post a few pictures that I've taken in the last week. I am so glad that I finally have a good camera. I'm looking forward to getting more and more comfortable with it. Hopefully over time, people will see my photos progress, and slowly get better and better. I am so nervous about having a blog, and having my pictures out there for everyone to see. But what the heck!
